Tailored Society began with a simple belief: clothing should reflect the individual, not the other way around. Built on years of hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for traditional tailoring, our studio was founded to bring intentional, handcrafted menswear to the heart of Carmel. What started as a passion for fine garments has grown into a bespoke house where craftsmanship, service, and personal expression come together in every piece we create.
Who We Are
Tailored Society was born from a rare alignment of passion, vision, and craftsmanship. Founders Wade Forman and Zachary Reeder met through their shared devotion to the art of fine tailoring—an appreciation for the quiet power of a well-made garment and the way true craftsmanship can transform a man’s presence.
Both began their journeys in menswear at just sixteen years old, long before they understood how profoundly this craft would shape their lives. Years of studying fit, form, and the subtle language of style refined their abilities and deepened their respect for the traditions that define master tailoring.
In 2019, that devotion became Tailored Society—a house built to reintroduce Indiana to a level of artisanal menswear the region had never experienced. From day one, Wade and Zach made a promise: to elevate not only the clothes men wear, but the way they feel when they enter a room.
Their pursuit of mastery led them to the Custom Tailors & Designers Association (CTDA), where they earned recognition as Certified Custom Clothiers, a mark of technical excellence and uncompromising integrity.
Tailored Society has since risen to one of only 15 Master Bespoke Clothiers in the world—a distinction that reflects painstaking handcraft, bespoke patternmaking at the highest level, and a reverence for tailoring as an art form.
Tailored Society is more than a brand; it is the convergence of two craftsmen devoted to preserving the soul of bespoke tailoring. Their work—recognized and featured in numerous local and national publications—embodies a standard of artistry rarely seen in modern menswear. Together, Wade and Zach continue to redefine what men can expect from their wardrobe, their presence, and the legacy they leave behind.

We take time to understand exactly what each client is looking for, then guide them toward mills that specialize in fabrics suited to their needs, lifestyle, and body—helping them compare different weights, textures, and characteristics so they can feel the difference quality makes. By focusing deeply on fabric knowledge and the tools of true craftsmanship, we empower our clients with the insight and confidence to make choices that genuinely elevate their wardrobe.
Our exclusive relationships with the world’s most esteemed European mills grant us rare access to fabrics unavailable anywhere else in the region. Some of these partnerships are among the only of their kind in North America, offering clients textiles with lineage, depth, and soul.
The Tailored Society experience unfolds inside our appointment-only studio, regarded as one of the most beautiful tailoring spaces in the country. Curated 18th-century French antiques, meaningful artwork, and an intimate atmosphere set the stage for something both refined and personal. Clients are welcomed with signature cocktails and invited to explore fabrics from the world’s top mills in an environment designed to slow the world down and allow true craftsmanship to shine.
